Expired Film

Okay, fine. I didn't exactly take a roll of expired film. I took a roll of aged film. Aged how? Sun-aged. I left a roll of film out in direct sunlight for a month. If I don't say so myself, the results were wonderful See for yourself:

As always, you can go to my flickr for more pictures. Happy belated Fourth of July!

Life is Good

I know I don't normally write things like that. I know I'm not the most optimistic person. I know that you're probably surprised to see what the title of this post is. My life has been good lately. School is out, I've been spending time with friends, and I'm in a play with college students. I'm enjoying each day. I just baked some delicious creme brulee. I've been shooting film again. Normally, I live in the future. There's always something I want that I can't have, and I trick myself into believing I'll get it "later". I'm trying to live each day as it comes.
And I got this:

Untitled

I've been busy lately in many ways. I've been doing a lot of photography lately, too, and I've realized something: photos are easier that words. You know how they say that a picture is worth a thousand words? I think that's why. It's the same reason why I haven't been blogging lately. I've been doing a lot on Flickr, and it's a great experience and a huge self-challenge. Here it is:http://www.flickr.com/photos/geckoempire/. I'm not trying to have a self-pity party, but I don't get much feedback on it. If you have any, and you don't have a flickr account, you can comment here or e-mail me. Merci.

Busy-ness

Hello. I've been overwhelmed a bit lately. Not badly so, just too much to blog. I'm about to go and introduce a movie (long story...). We're also about to go have dinner with my uncle and his girlfriend and then I get to introduce the movie again. And I have to bake cupcakes and go to a square dance tomorrow. Wow.
I don't want to sound pathetic when I say this, but I feel like my blog isn't getting much attention. I'm not dying for comments and followers, but I'd honestly like to know if it's boring or I don't post enough, or whatever else could make it better. Essentially, I'd like honest feedback. Thanks!

Saturdays, Mexican food, and sun

It's Saturday, and the sun has finally come out!!! There is virtually not a cloud in the sky, and it's supposed to be 60 degrees, ftw. I'm happy , needless to say. Here's a list of stuff I've been up to:
-Sampling the cuisine of a restaurant my brother's classmate's family opened. It was yummy. I had an enchilada for breakfast this morning.
-Baby-sitting, and dyeing Easter eggs and playing Sorry while I was at it.
-Gardening at school.
-Selling chicken eggs for a school fundraiser.
-Blogging at opossumsauce http://opossumsauce.blogspot.com/.
-And, of course, doing homework. Oh,well.
Happy early Easter everyone!

Long Day

I'm dead tired at the minute. I spent more time window shopping with my friend than any sane person should ever spend window shopping. Technically it wasn't window shopping though, because I got an amazing shirt for $5.Our school had the day off. Public schools didn't. We got some stare walking around downtown on a school day.

New name?

I've been thinking a lot about my blog name lately. Don't get me wrong here, the phrase "life's a game but it's not fair, I break the rules, so I don't care" summarizes my attitude on life perfectly, if you haven't noticed already. However, I can't fit the whole phrase into my title, so I'm stuck with " life's a game but it's not fair", which I think sounds pretty pathetic. Here are some new names I've contemplated:
-Pulchritude
-Enzymatic
-Enigma
- I Am 32 Flavors...and then some
-Float On
What do you think? Any suggestions? Tell me!

Welcome to my blog!

Sorry about the truncated previous post. Blogger was being absurd and not loading. Anyway, welcome to my blog! If you're reading this, I'd love it you'd follow, not because I'm desperate for followers, but because I want to know who out there is affectionately stalking me =D
You all know who I am, either from New Moon or reading my bio, but if you have any more questions about me feel free to comment.
I'm having a lazy day. The sun is finally out here in the Northwest and I should be outside, but I'm not. Yesterday I went to the Farmer's Market  with my mom. Exiting, I know. Actually it was a lot of fun. We stumbled across an add for a local talent agency/ film company place that I will hopefully audition for. I've been reading a lot of monologues in preparation, and I'm really exited! I have school off tomorrow and I might go to work with my mom. Yay.
Oh, and here's a link you'll all just love: http://www.flickr.com/photos/geckoempire/
